Last updated: 18.06.2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to the Anaïs Ventures website (the "Site"). Anaïs Ventures SA ("we", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you visit our website https://www.a-ventures.ch.
This policy is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), in force since 1 September 2023. If you visit us from the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies.
It does not cover third-party websites the Site links to (LinkedIn, the websites of our portfolio companies), which have their own privacy policies.

3. Data we process
3.1 Technical data (log files)
When you visit the Site, our hosting infrastructure automatically collects certain technical data (IP address, date and time of access, pages viewed, browser type and operating system). This data is used for the proper functioning, stability and security of the Site. It is processed on that basis, regardless of consent, and is not used to identify you individually.
3.2 Audience measurement – Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
With your consent only, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Dublin, Ireland) and, where applicable, Google LLC (United States), to understand how visitors interact with our Site. Google Signals is disabled, advertising and remarketing features are disabled, and no advertising data is collected.
Data collected:
- IP address (anonymised by GA4; it is not stored in full)
- Browser and device type
- Pages visited and session duration
- Date and time of the visit
- Traffic source (referrer)
Cookies used (placed only after acceptance):
| Cookie | Cookie lifetime | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
_ga | 2 years | Distinguish users (anonymous identifier) |
_ga_* | 2 years | Maintain session state |
Data retention in GA4: 12 months. (Not to be confused with the cookie lifetime above, which is set on the browser side.)
The sole purpose is audience measurement; this data is not used to identify you. We carry out no automated individual decision-making and no profiling.
International data transfers: The data collected may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. This transfer is covered by the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF), which the Swiss Federal Council has recognised, since 15 September 2024, as providing an adequate level of protection for certified U.S. companies — which is the case for Google LLC. As an additional safeguard, the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) recognised by the FDPIC (and, where applicable, the European Commission) apply.
Consent management: Your consent is required before Google Analytics is activated. Until you have given it, Google Analytics remains blocked (Google Consent Mode v2, set to "denied" by default). You can:
- Accept: measurement cookies are placed and audience data is collected.
- Reject: no audience-measurement cookie is placed and no data that could identify or track you is collected.
- Customise: choose the cookie categories you allow.
- Change your choice at any time via the "Manage cookies" link in the footer of the Site.
3.3 Contact data
If you write to us (by email), we process the data you provide on your own initiative (name, email address, message content), solely to handle your request. The Site has no contact form.
4. Legal basis for processing
Processing for audience measurement is based on your consent (Art. 6(6) and Art. 31(1) FADP; Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for visitors from the European Union). You may withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge and with effect for the future.
Processing of technical data (security and functioning of the Site) and of contact requests is based on our legitimate interest in operating the Site securely and in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for visitors from the European Union).
5. Your rights
In accordance with the FADP, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: obtain information about the data concerning you (Art. 25 FADP)
- Right to rectification: have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 32 FADP)
- Right to the release or transfer of data (portability) (Art. 28 FADP)
- Right to request erasure of your data or to object to its processing
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge and without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand
If the GDPR applies to you, you additionally have the rights to restriction and objection within the meaning of the GDPR.
To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address above; we may verify your identity beforehand. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern – www.edoeb.admin.ch) or, in the EU, with the supervisory authority of your place of residence.
6. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure, in line with the current state of the art.
7. Data sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. It may be disclosed to our processors acting on our behalf and bound by confidentiality obligations (the Site's hosting provider, the audience-measurement provider), and to the competent authorities where required by law. Data collected via Google Analytics is shared with Google solely within the scope of the web analytics service.
8. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Any change will be published on this page with a revised update date. The applicable version is the one published on the Site at the time you consult it.
